this is the beginning

at odds with the values of instant gratification, fast pace and overstimulation, we decided to embrace the slow-making philosophy and started a small fashion venture designing beautiful skirts. my mother hand-made my most cherished clothes. i would chose the fabric and a design. she would suffer through the whole process not sure if it would turn out exactly as i defined. but it did. always. some years ago i asked my mother to make a maxi skirt which i had designed.  it should be in a non-formal fabric yet elegant and somewhat empowering. i needed that to give me confidence to embrace my 50s. again, she did it. she then taught me and now we're making them for you.
